About us

Made from Trees is a family run business based in the south east of England.  It was established by David McTaggart and brings together a team of skilled craftsmen who love working with all types of wood. Recently, David's wife Gillian joined to run the marketing and social media side of the business. David has always been interested in carpentry and has an interest in another business which supplies some of the UK's largest restaurants and retail shops.

Where possible we use recycled wood and source our timber locally from sustainable sources.  We tend to concentrate on solid Oak products however we are always happy to accept commissions using other more exotic woods.
